about

World famous Japanese DJ / Producer Tatsuo Sunaga's solo unit, Sunaga t experience, known as STE, has released its seventh album. The album is a unique work in which he teams up with female singer J.Lamotta Suzume to cover Joni Mitchell's classic album “BLUE”(’71), which they both love.

Last year, Tatsuo Sunaga's solo unit Sunaga t experience covered Joni Mitchell's historical masterpiece 'Blue', which marked the 50th anniversary of its release, by featuring the up-and-coming SSW singer J. Lamotta Suzume, who has been the subject of much attention from listeners and DJs around the world, including Giles Peterson. Featuring Lamotta Suzume, they have completed a unique album 'Re Blue', which covers an entire album. The participating musicians include Yuri Dazai, Setsu Fujii, Yoichi Okabe, Tetsuji Shiota, Ken Ota, Wataru Oyama, Akiyoshi Sekine and Mayuko Katakura, all leading jazz musicians in Japan! In addition, Yusuke Nakamura (Blu-Swing) and Maki Mannami (Mannami Maki) have also contributed their skills as arrangers. The entire album was completed as a jazz work, but also overflowing with deep affection for the original album and Joni Mitchell.
