about

A new Balearic number from storied singer-songwriter, Quinn Lamont Luke, famed collaborator of folks such as the Idjut Boys, Horse Meat Disco, Psychemagik, Ray Mang, Phil Mison, and Paul Murphy. The B-Side features a wonderful remix by Max Essa.

Quinn Lamont Luke has been recording and releasing music for almost 30 years. Originally using the name Bing Ji Ling, he has been a member of a long list of groups - Coppa, Incarnations, Paqua, The Phenomenal Handclap Band, Q&A - and toured with Tommy Guerrero. Quinn has also collaborated with celebrated artists such as Cantoma and Psychemagik. Released on world-renowned labels, such as Claremont 56 and DFA, Quinn’s songs have been remixed by legendary dance acts, like the Idjut Boys, Ray Mang, and Horse Meat Disco. His new single, entitled, No Getting Over You, available for the first time, now, on Flower Records, is a beautiful folk / Balearic number, and is truly timeless. The B-Side features a superb rework by Tokyo’s own Max Essa!
